Vikas Khanna is one of the most beloved Indian chefs in the world. An award-winning Michelin starred chef and host of the highly rated prime-time shows MasterChef India, Twist of Taste and Mega Kitchens, Khanna has been a guest on Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen, as well as The Martha Stewart Show, Throwdown! with Bobby Flay and MasterChef Australia. He has hosted events for former President Barack Obama, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Pope Francis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many others world leaders and celebrities.
Khanna has received rave reviews from the New York Times, Condé Nast and Wall Street Journal. Deutsche Welle listed Khanna as one of the 10 most iconic chefs in the world of all time.
He is the goodwill ambassador for the Smile Foundation and supports the cause of nutrition in India.
He lives in New York City.

Andrei Severny

Andrei Severny is a filmmaker, photographer and video artist. Severny’s narrative and documentary films explore art, drama, human perception and psychology. On his quest to reveal the inner world, Severny engages in both reality and abstraction. His works operate on multiple levels engaging both intuition and intellect.
Andrei Severny’s first feature-length narrative film Condition received a special award at the 29th Torino Film Festival, Italy and was screened on French television.
Since 2007, Severny has collaborated with Edward Tufte, a world renowned master of analytical design. Tufte served as the producer of Severny’s 2012 documentary Teaching to See. The film was listed as one of the 100 best design films of all time.
In 2015 Severny directed and edited the black & white art film Gravitation: Variation in Time and Space, starring Diana Vishneva, the top Russian principle ballet dancer at the American Ballet Theater and the Mariinsky Ballet. The award-winning film represents unique synergy of dance, cinema and metaphorical exploration of the universe. The use of space imagery prompted NASA to feature Andrei Severny’s film at the Houston Festival of Cinema Arts. The film was selected by over 15 international film festivals around the world. It’s most recent screening took place at the prestigious Walter Reade Theater, selected by the Lincoln Film Society in New York.
In 2016 Andrei Severny co-directed and edited the innovative interactive documentary Inside Risk: Shadows of Medellin. The live version of the complex multi-language project is currently touring the world and the interactive version will premiere on Swiss and other European TV channels.
Andrei Severny is currently working on his new feature documentary – a transformative immigrant story of the Indian Michelin Star Chef and cultural ambassador Vikas Khanna.
Severny was born in 1977 in Moscow, Russia into a family of astronomers. He moved to New York city in 2004, where he lives and works.

Stephen Cardone

Stephen Cardone served as an assistant editor on the pilot episode of BRIC produced The Show About the Show, which was directed by Caveh Zahedi. He has edited arts based content for Times Square Alliance and has worked with the film program at Writopia Lab to help educate future directors and editors. Stephen has also worked with Acadamy Award nominated film studio Storyville Films on their two latest documentaries, My Italian Secret (Rome International Film Festival) and Shadowman (Tribeca Film Festival).

Julia Kent
Composer, Music Performer

Julia Kent is a New York City-based Cellist and Composer. Her album Temporal was called “Epic” by the Guardian. In addition to her solo albums, Julia Kent has composed a number of original film scores, as well as music for theatre and dance performances. She has toured throughout Europe and North America, including appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona, the Donau festival in Austria, Meltdown in London, the Unsound festival in New York City, Reeperbahn in Hamburg, CTM in Berlin, and Mutek in Montreal.

Per Østerby

Per Østerby is a multi-skill professional documentary producer, cameraman, editor and sound technician from Copenhagen, Denmark. Per’s focus is the authentic representation of people and cultures. He directed, produced and shot many documentary films about people and animals struggling for better social condition and survival. In 2016 he participated in the Arte production that received the top award at the Innsbruck Nature Film Festival “Schicksal der Mondbäre” (Destiny of the Moonbears). Per’s passion is Brazil and the Amazon, where he participated in several important documentaries and cultural projects. Per speaks Danish, English, Portuguese, Spanish, German and Russian.

Eli Cohn is a Brooklyn based sound designer and re-recording mixer. Over the last decade he has collaborated with many of independent film’s leading voices. Recent work includes Shaul Schwarz & Christina Clusiau’s Trophy, and Andrew Dosunmu’s Where is Kyra?
